It’s derby day in the capital, The Citizens take on Spartans at Meadowbank this Saturday. 

After late despair last weekend, The Citizens are keen to turn things around in our local derby. 

Quinn Mitchell was the goal scorer and club MOTM against Stranraer and is enjoying his football in a more advanced role than anticipated this season. Quinn is a product of our youth system, and it is great seeing him adapt to first-team football so well.

Three points in this local derby would be massive for the club as it would not only bring us off the bottom of the table, but it would also be sure to strike a run of form that is deserved amongst this very talented group of young players. 

We last faced Spartans in 2016, so we hope to see you all hear supporting your team in one of the biggest games of our season.

A reminder that kick-off is at 1 pm this Saturday.
